Chasing the Light: A Himalayan Life Fundraising Event
With the global Covid-19 pandemic and the cataclysmic flood that destroyed our beloved Yangri Academic Centre, we have faced a lot of darkness this year. However, at Himalayan Life, we are about moving from darkness to light and life. We choose to reflect on the small, hopeful rays of light that have shone through the darkness, and to focus on chasing the light ahead of us.
Please join us for one of our fundraising events to learn more about how Himalayan Life is Chasing the Light and what exciting next steps we have planned for rebuilding the Yangri Academic Centre.
The evening will consist of a keynote address by Daniel Burgi, including stories of his recent trip to Nepal and new films and images from several of our project locations. Plus, hear from a few more speakers as we aim to fundraise $200,000- enough to build four, four-pod classrooms in our new school!
