Yangri School Construction Update & Future Plans
Work has been moving forward since the partial opening of the new Yangri school in April 2024. Currently, the focus is on building four dormitories, each housing 50 students, to make sure they have a safe and comfortable place to stay while they study. Starting in May, the workers will continue construction on the dining hall, essential walkways for better access, and a septic system to improve sanitation. The final phase, running from November 2025 to December 2026, will bring even more improvements—like a kindergarten, staff housing, additional dorms to welcome more students, a utility shed for storage and maintenance, and an office block to help with school operations. All of these additions will make a huge difference in creating a better learning and living space for the students.
