Creating Opportunities For Girls Through Education, Care & Support
In many parts of Nepal, girls grow up in a society where opportunities are often limited. Cultural expectations and economic hardship can mean that girls take on significant responsibilities at home, sometimes leaving school early to care for siblings or help support their families. In vulnerable communities, poverty can also place girls at risk of exploitation and trafficking.
Despite these challenges, girls across the Himalayas show remarkable resilience and potential.

The girls in our care are nurtured and educated so they can become confident, compassionate women who inspire others around them. Our dedicated female staff play a vital role in this mission. As educators, caregivers, and leaders, they serve as powerful role models for the girls they support each day. For the month of March, as we reflect on International Women’s Day, we celebrate the girls and women in the Himalayas, their courage, their potential, and the bright futures ahead of them.
