Himalayan Life Plastics Receives Energy Globe Award
The Energy Globe Award is one of the world’s most prestigious environmental honours, with participants from over 180 countries submitting projects that promote sustainability and environmental protection. Presented in the categories of Earth, Fire, Water, and Air, the award is also granted on a national level in more than 90 countries.
We’re proud to share that Himalayan Life Plastics Social Enterprise, based in Pokhara, Nepal, has been awarded the 2024 Energy Globe Award. As Nepal’s only plastic bottle recycling plant dedicated to social good, environmental impact, and economic development, we are deeply honoured to be recognized by such a respected global organization.
Karina Burgi, Co-Founder of Himalayan Life, accepted this award on behalf of Himalayan Life Plastics, which was presented by Gregor Postl (Consul and Trade Commissioner) and Karolina Klemm (Vice-Consul and Deputy Trade Commissioner). Thank you, Energy Globe, for this prestigious award and honour!
