A Moment of Gratitude
As we are more than halfway through 2026, we pause with gratitude to recognize the partnerships and generosity that continue to make Himalayan Life’s work possible.
This year, our guiding theme is I Know My Name. In Nepal, caste systems and social barriers have long shaped how identity and worth are assigned. Many of the children we serve have experienced deep loss of family, stability, social standing, and belonging. In response, we are committed to reframing how we tell their stories: not as “children in need of rescue” but as children whose identity, dignity, and sense of belonging are being restored.
Every child deserves to be seen, heard, known, and valued. This belief shapes everything we do, and it is made possible through the people and organizations who walk alongside us.
We are deeply grateful for our partners: churches, schools, foundations, communities and individuals who choose to support this work. Through collaboration and commitment, these partnerships help expand the reach and impact of our programs across the Himalayas.
I Know My Name is not only a message for the children we serve. It is reflected in every partnership and gift that helps affirm identity and restore belonging. As we move into the second half of 2026, we’re grateful to continue this journey together and help every child know their name.
