What used to be the sad site of total destruction after the 2015 earthquake is now the site of our new school, teeming with life and excitement. It is such a joy to see how the 100+ students are making huge progress, and how the sheer excitement of learning and teaching has been infectious among students and teachers alike. Also, I am happy to report that construction of the new buildings (classrooms, kitchen/dining hall, dorms) is well under way. Some 40 construction workers – stone masons, carpenters, framers, tile layers, painters, welders – are all putting in a lot of effort to get the school ready for the next phase, as we are adding grade 4 and 5 in April.
