A Place of Hope and Learning in Yangri
Construction of our new school in the Yangri Valley has reached several exciting milestones in recent months, with a number of essential facilities now complete and fully operational. These include the kitchen, dining hall, administration building, a 35,000-litre water reservoir, and a dedicated generator house.
Additional improvements across the property have further strengthened the school’s safety, efficiency, and overall functionality. Children now enjoy a clean, comfortable dining space, improved access to safe water, and a more reliable electricity supply. The upgraded administration facilities have also enhanced the coordination of both educational and residential programs.
Together, these developments have created a safer, more stable, and child-friendly campus that better supports the health, well-being, and education of children from remote Himalayan communities. Each completed milestone brings us one step closer to providing students with a place where they can learn, grow, and thrive for years to come.
