Himalayan Life 2018-2019 Annual Review

Dear Friends of Himalayan Life,

I am very excited to share with you today our first ever Annual Review! While Himalayan Life was incorporated more than ten years ago, this is the first time that we have compiled a formal review, giving you a glimpse into what has happened in all the Himalayan Life projects in 2018/19.

As you know, our mandate is to protect, nurture, and educate children in the Himalayas – all the way from the sweltering flatlands in southern Nepal, the foothills around Pokhara, the Himalayan valleys such as Yangri, and the wind-swept plains of Ladakh in the Trans-Himalaya. We care deeply about the well-being of street children, abandoned children, migrant children, and also community children. We dream of LIFE for each of them, life in every dimension of the word. And we feel incredibly privileged to design and implement programs that serve as platforms for transformation, where children can move from not life to life.

As a supporter of Himalayan Life—whether financially or in prayer—you have a part in the on-going transformation at work in each child.

Would you consider partnering with us further, by sending a one-time gift in support of our programs? Every gift will be put to work to educate, house and care for children in the Himalayas during our upcoming busy season.

I am deeply grateful for your generosity, and I trust you will enjoy the stories in this Annual Review.

Thank you for your continued support and friendship,

Daniel Burgi, CEO
