Opening Ceremony For The New Yangri School
On April 23, 2024, Himalayan Life held a ceremony for the partial opening of the new Yangri school. Since the start of 2023, the construction workers rebuilding the school have been working diligently, putting in many long days in preparation for this day. We are incredibly thankful for their dedication and hard work, which have made this milestone possible.
Students, parents, staff and other members of the community gathered together to celebrate this momentous occasion. Since the opening ceremony, Grades 6 – 10, about 125 of the total 280 students have now moved to the new campus and have resumed their studies. We are grateful for the community’s support and excited to see the positive impact the new Yangri school will have on our students’ educational experiences.
