Business for Good

Please join us September 19th at the Terminal City Club in Vancouver from 12:00pm to 1:30pm.

Himalayan Life works to protect, nurture and educate disadvantaged children in the Himalayas. Six years ago we launched a Business for Good: Himalayan Life Plastics. The initiative is the only plastic bottle recycling plant in Nepal. This social enterprise uses its platform to give life to street children and marginalized people while lifting them out of poverty.

Business for Good, September 19 at the Terminal City Club

Himalayan Life Plastics recycles 60 million bottles a year and provides employment for 70 staff and over 250 collectors and suppliers. This triple bottom line initiative successfully alleviates poverty, stewards the environment, and provides profits that are invested into protecting, nurturing and educating disadvantaged children in the Himalayas. It is a story of transformation and hope – a business for good!

CEO, Daniel Burgi will outline the success story of Himalayan Life Plastics along with a short film by Inmist Media House.

We will also be outlining new Business for Good opportunities that we are exploring in Nepal. Join us with your time, treasure or talent. We are looking for feedback on these new initiatives and your input is really valued.
